1. OVERVIEW
At Zodiac Labs, we build gaming PCs with the same expertise and attention to detail that powers professional college esports teams. Our custom-built systems are handcrafted by experts in the Midwest USA and tested to perfection. This warranty reflects our commitment to delivering unrivaled PC performance with the confidence and support you deserve.
1. WARRANTY COVERAGE
2.1 Standard Warranty Terms
New Custom Gaming PCs: All new custom gaming PCs built by Zodiac Labs include:
- 2-Year Limited Parts Warranty on all components
- 2-Year Labor Warranty for repairs and service
- An extended warranty (up to 5 years) can be added at an additional cost
2.2 Warranty Effective Date
Warranty coverage begins on the date of delivery to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2.3 What is Covered
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Component failures under normal gaming use
- Labor for diagnosis, repair, and replacement of covered components
- Pre-installed operating system and driver issues
- Initial system configuration and optimization
2.4 Warranty Service Options
In-Warranty Service: During the warranty period, Zodiac Labs will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective component(s) with new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent parts
- Replace the defective component(s) with new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent parts
- Provide system-level repair and optimization services
- Offer remote technical support and software troubleshooting
1. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
3.1 What is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Physical Damage:
- Accidental damage, drops, spills, or impacts
- Damage from fire, flood, lightning, power surges, or natural disasters
User-Related Issues:
- Damage from excessive heat, cold, humidity, or environmental conditions outside normal operating parameters
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, upgrades, or repairs
- Use of non-compatible or substandard components not provided by Zodiac Labs
- Software issues caused by user-installed programs, viruses, or malware
- Data loss or corruption (customers are responsible for data backup)
- Damage from overclocking beyond manufacturer specifications without Zodiac Labs approval
Normal Wear and Items:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Cosmetic damage that doesn’t affect functionality
- Consumable items (thermal paste, case fans with normal wear, etc.)
- Third-party software licenses and applications
- Peripherals not manufactured by Zodiac Labs (keyboards, mice, monitors, etc.)
Service-Related Exclusions:
- Systems with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers
- Units purchased from unauthorized dealers or resellers
- Shipping damage (file claims with shipping carrier)
- Issues arising from improper installation of customer-provided components
3.2 Warranty Voidance
This warranty will be void if:
- The system is serviced by unauthorized repair facilities
- Non-approved components are installed without Zodiac Labs consultation
- The system is used for cryptocurrency mining or other intensive computational workloads beyond normal gaming without disclosure
- Evidence of tampering with or circumventing system protections is found
1. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS
4.1 Pre-Authorization Required
All warranty service requires pre-authorization. Do not return any product without first contacting Zodiac Labs support.
4.2 Initiating a Warranty Claim
1. Contact Support: Email support@zodiaclabs.gg during business hours
1. Provide Information:
- Original order/invoice number
- Detailed description of the problem
- System serial number and model information
1. Troubleshooting: Complete remote troubleshooting steps as directed by our technical team
1. RMA Authorization: If hardware service is required, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
4.3 Shipping for Warranty Service
Customer Responsibilities:
- Package system securely in original packaging
- Include RMA number clearly marked on outside of package
- Include copy of original invoice and detailed problem description
- Insure shipment for full replacement value
Zodiac Labs Responsibilities:
- Cover return shipping costs within continental United States
- Provide expedited service processing (5-10 business days typical turnaround)
- Cover all authorized parts and labor costs
4.4 International Customers
International customers are responsible for all shipping costs and customs fees. Extended processing times may apply.
1. OUT-OF-WARRANTY SERVICE
5.2 Post-Warranty Repairs
Systems beyond warranty period are eligible for fee-based service:
- Diagnostic fee: $75 (applied toward repair cost if service is completed)
- Labor rate: $95/hour
- Parts at cost plus 15% handling fee
- Same expert service standards apply
1. LEGAL DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS
6.1 Limitation of Liability
ZODIAC LABS’ TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE SYSTEM. In no event shall Zodiac Labs be liable for:
- Loss of data or software
- Loss of use, revenue, or anticipated profits
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Costs exceeding the original system purchase price
6.2 Disclaimer of Other Warranties
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, Zodiac Labs disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you.
6.3 Component Manufacturer Warranties
Individual components may carry separate manufacturer warranties that extend beyond Zodiac Labs’ warranty period. Zodiac Labs will assist customers in exercising these manufacturer warranties when applicable.
6.4 Software and Data Disclaimer
Zodiac Labs is not responsible for any software or data originally on the system or installed by the customer. Customers are solely responsible for backing up data before service. Systems may be restored to factory configuration during repair.

1. ADDITIONAL TERMS
8.1 Warranty Modifications
Zodiac Labs reserves the right to modify this warranty policy. Changes will not affect systems already under warranty at the time of modification.
8.2 Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of Kansas without regard to conflict of law principles.
8.3 Consumer Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. This warranty does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
8.4 Resolution of Disputes
Any disputes arising under this warranty will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
